I. Specialty and Academic Year
There are 5 specialties of professional master degrees in our university thatrecruit postgraduates from all over the world whose program duration are all 2 academicyears, including the longest length of study for 4 academic years, and thecourses are taught in Chinese. II. Eligibility for Application
1. In principle, applicants must be acitizen of a country other than the People’s Republic of China, andmustbe a bachelor’s degree holder under the age of 40 when applying for themasters’ programs , and must be a valid foreign passport holder. For foreignnationals who were originally Chinese citizens, we implement Wai Lai〔2009〕No. 83 Documentof the Ministry of Education.
2. With higher Chinese proficiency,Chinese language must meet HSK Level 4 and above in principle (those who haveno HSK test scores, but have been tested by us and prove to have equal Chineselanguage level can also apply for specialty study, but they must supplement HSKtest score within one year after enrollment).

III. Application Materials
1. Application Form for Admission ofForeign Students intoBeijing University of Agriculture.
2. A copy of the highest academic degreeand a certificate of bachelor's degree recognized by the Chinese government(original documents must be shown at the time of registration). This year’sgraduates shall provide their expected graduation certificates (originaldocuments must be shown at the time of registration).
3.Transcripts: Transcripts of undergraduate courses(original or notarized copies in Chinese or English).
4. Personal statement (written inChinese or English, which shall include resume, academic research results,research plan during the master's program, employment goals after graduation,etc., within 1000 words, please download and fill in thePostgraduate's Personal Statement).
5. Recommendation letters from twoassociate professors or above (or equivalent titles).
6. If you have passed the HSK Level 4 orabove exam, you must provide a copy of HSK certificate and transcript.
7. A copy of the first page and visapages of the applicant’s passport.
8. 6 identical photographs of passportsize in white background.
9. A copy of the guarantor's validcertificate (passport or ID card).
10. The registration fee is 500 yuan.
IV. Application Method
Applicantscan choose either of the following ways.
Method One: Download theApplication Form for Admission of ForeignStudents intoBeijing Universityof Agriculturefromthe Internet and send the completed application form and application materialsto the work e-mail of the International Cooperation and Exchange Office.
Method Two: Submit paper applicationmaterials. (1) Applicants can directly submit or entrust others to submitapplication materials to the office of the Students’ International AffairsDepartment of the International Cooperation and Exchange Office of BUA; (2) Bymailing (see contact information for the address).
V.Application Deadline
FromJanuary 5, 2019 to May 31, 2019 (the date on the postmark shall be taken as thedate of delivery or receipt).
VI. Tuition and Accommodation Fees
Tuition fee: RMB 26,000/academic year
Accommodation fee: RMB6000/person/academic year (double room)
VII.Scholarship
In order to encourage foreign studentswho are excellent in characters and learning, we provide foreign students withBeijing Scholarships for Foreign Students and BUA Scholarships for ForeignStudents, foreign students admitted into our university would be provided withBUA Scholarships for Foreign Students in the form of tuition waiver, except forthose who have already won Beijing Scholarships for Foreign Students.
